Running flower and creeper designs. These suit a neckline and a sleeve better than almost anything else because a vine can follow a curve, which a geometric repeat cannot.
Ask about thisIf there is a design that gets recommended more than any other when somebody arrives without a fixed idea, it is this one.
A vine travels. It follows a boat neck across the collarbones, turns the corner of a square neck, tapers down the line of a deep V, and runs along a sleeve edge without needing a beginning or an end. A single large motif has to be placed exactly right or it looks accidental. A vine forgives, which is why it is the usual answer when somebody has a shape in mind but no fixed design.
Put a vine at the neckline and along the sleeve edges and leave the rest of the blouse alone. It costs a fraction of a covered design and reads as a deliberate choice rather than a shortage of one. If the budget is the constraint, this is the first lever to pull.
Worked in zari alone it is quiet and traditional. Small stones or pearls at the flower centres lift it without adding real weight. Solid stone fill turns it into bridal work, using the same drawing.
Jasmine, rose and generic creeper forms all come through here. Say which flower matters to you, if one does.
